The Urban League of Essex County Opportunity Corporation (ULECOC), a Community Housing Development Organization and a subsidiary of the Urban League of Essex County, proudly announces that applications are still being accepted for income-eligible applicants to purchase and own one of their eight newly constructed affordable two-family housing developments for sale in Newark, New Jersey.
This affordable homes project is part of their ongoing commitment to fostering community revitalization and economic empowerment within the vibrant Fairmount Heights neighborhood of Newark. One of these two-family properties is situated on Camden Street, and the remaining seven homes are located along Fairmount Avenue. ULEC is pleased to extend this unique opportunity, offering accessible homeownership to low-income and moderate-income families. The homes are priced between $142,500 and $190,000.
Application requirements and intake packets must be submitted by TOMORROW, August 30, 2024. This includes but is not limited to attending an informational session, ULEC Financial Literacy Workshop, and 8 hours of HUD-approved first-time homebuyers' education workshop. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a randomized selection process on September 16, 2024.
