NHA Low-Income Public Housing 2023 Family Wait List Update To: All Current Applicants on the Low-Income Public Housing Family Waiting Lists The Housing Authority of the City of Newark is updating its Low-Income Public Housing Waiting List for applicants on the Family Waiting List. Unfortunately, the Family Waiting List 2023 – Request for Update letters were mailed out later than anticipated. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. If you wish to remain on our Waiting List please complete and return the Update form. You can return the Update Form in person during the admissions hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You can also return the Update form by mail at 500 Broad Street Newark, NJ 07102 or by fax @ (973) 273-6140. The questions asked on the Update Form will help us to be sure we have the correct information about your household, i.e. family composition, gross income, and admissions preferences. You must keep your information updated at all times to avoid delays in the application process. If we do not receive the enclosed completed forms by January 02, 2024, your name will be removed and withdrawn from NHA’s Public Housing Waiting List and you will have to reapply when the waiting list reopens. If you have an email address and would like to provide it as an alternate means to communicate with NHA, please provide it on the attached Update Form. All information that you submit will be maintained and used confidentially. If you have any questions, please contact our office at (973) 273-6127 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon and on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
