PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT: DRAFT 2025 PHA ANNUAL PLAN AND FIVE-YEAR PLAN TAKE NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AND OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT REGARDING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF NEWARK’S DRAFT 2025 PHA ANNUAL PLAN FIVE-YEAR PLAN The Housing Authority of the City of NEWARK (NHA) will have a forty five (45) day public comment period for its Draft 2025 Annual Plan and Five-Year Plan commencing on August 27, 2024 through on October 10, 2024. All comments should be made in writing and delivered to 500 Broad Street, Newark, NJ 07102 and made to the attention of Leonard J. Spicer, Executive Director. All comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on October 10, 2024. Two (2) Public Hearings to present comments regarding the draft annual plan and 5 year plan will be conducted as follows: Date: September 10, 2024 Time: 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Location: Central Office: 500 Broad Street Multipurpose Room Newark, NJ 07102 The Housing Authority of the City of Newark Board of Commissioners will vote on the adoption of the 2025 PHA Annual Plan and Five-Year Plan at a Special Board of Commissioners Meeting in October, 2024. A separate notice will be published of this meeting. Copies of the Draft 2025 PHA Annual Plan and Five-Year Plan are available for review and inspection at the NHA Central Office located at 500 Broad Street or an electronic version is available online at newarkha.org.
